Speaking Schedule

Monday, July 23

9:15 AM - Study Class
Ecclesiastes Chapter 1
Speaker: Len Naglieri

11:00 AM - Exhortation
"Yahweh Raised Up Judges"
Speaker: TBA

Notes: "Nevertheless the LORD raised up judges, which delivered them out of the hand of those that spoiled them" (Judges 2:16). Yahweh will send DELIVERANCE to his people. Many examples of this, not only from Judges.

2:00 PM
- Study Class
Ecclesiastes Chapter 2
Speaker: Jesse Gustavsson

8:00 PM - Bible Lecture
"Promises Made Unto the Fathers"
Speaker: Ben Naglieri

Notes: An overview of the promises made by God to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Notion of an eternal possession anywhere but on Earth refuted. The promises extended to all those who put on Christ through baptism.

Tuesday, July 24

9:15 AM - Study Class
Ecclesiastes Chapter 3
Speaker: David Hughes

11:00 AM - Exhortation
"When the Judge Was Dead"
Speaker: Dan Jackson

Notes: "And it came to pass, when the judge was dead, that they returned, and corrupted themselves more than their fathers, in following other gods to serve them, and to bow down unto them; they ceased not from their own doings, nor from their stubborn way" (Judges 2:19). In the absence of a judge or a ruler, the people RETURN to the WAYS OF SIN. We must not slide back into sinful ways during a time of peace and prosperity.

2:00 PM
- Study Class
Ecclesiastes Chapter 4
Speaker: Caleb Hurst

8:00 PM - Bible Lecture
"Hope Beyond the Grave"
Speaker: Craig Kiley

Notes: What is the true hope of man? Can man hope for heaven after death? This lecture will discuss heaven and hell, immortal soul, resurrection, and the kingdom to be set up on Earth.

Wednesday, July 25

9:15 AM - Study Class
Ecclesiastes Chapter 5
Speaker: Glendon Rhoades

11:00 AM - Exhortation
"And the Land Had Rest"
Speaker: Phillip Hughes

Notes: "So let all thine enemies perish, O LORD: but let them that love him be as the sun when he goeth forth in his might. And the land had rest forty years" (Judges 5:31). PEACE and REST come upon those who serve Yahweh; God to provide for all those who love him; we must submit ourselves to his righteous rule.

2:00 PM
- Study Class
Ecclesiastes Chapter 6
Speaker: Gordon Jones

8:00 PM - Bible Lecture
"Revelation: Unfolding Before Us"
Speaker: Jim Phillips

Notes: The importance of a proper understanding of the Apocalypse. Common misinterpretations and their pitfalls: futurist and preterist.

Thursday, July 26

9:15 AM - Study Class
Ecclesiastes Chapter 7
Speaker: Sid Jones

11:00 AM - Exhortation
"Lessons from the Life of Gideon"
Speaker: Scott Ricks

Notes: "And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valour" (Judges 6:12). Lessons from the life of Gideon. Insignificant. Needed a sign/reassurance.

2:00 PM
- Study Class
Ecclesiastes Chapter 8
Speaker: Gary Stephen

8:00 PM - Bible Lecture
"Political and Military Service"
Speaker: Paul Garvey

Notes: What does the world say? What does God say? God has ruled and continues to rule in the kingdoms of men. God has a plan for the Earth – His own political agenda, and His will shall be done on earth as in heaven.

Friday, July 27

9:15 AM - Study Class
Ecclesiastes Chapter 9
Speaker: Curtis Hurst

11:00 AM - Exhortation
"Did Ye Not Hate Me?"
Speaker: Matthew Hughes

Notes: "And Jephthah said unto the elders of Gilead, Did not ye hate me, and expel me out of my father's house? and why are ye come unto me now when ye are in distress" (Judges 11:7)? Episodes of Jephthah's life typical of Christ. Like Joseph, he was despised by his brothers. He was cast out by his relatives: "Thou shalt not inherit in our father's house" (Judges 11:2). When called upon to help them, Jephthah's reply: "Did not ye hate me, and expel me out of my father's house? and why are ye come unto me now when ye are in distress?" Jephthah becomes head over Israel. The stone which is rejected becomes the head of the corner. Christ was hated of his brethren and killed, but was raised to honor and glory and will return to rule on Earth.

1:30 PM
- Study Class
Ecclesiastes Chapter 10
Speaker: Noah Brown

8:30 PM - Bible Lecture
"Defending the Shema Against the Trinity"
Speaker: Aaron Myers

Notes: “Hear, O Israel, Yahweh is our God, Yahweh alone” (Deuteronomy 6:4). A defense on the true singleness of the Deity and His desire for unity and peace with His creation as well as clarify many Trinitarian proof texts with the light of context, Biblical wisdom, and common sense.

Saturday, July 28

9:15 AM - Study Class
Ecclesiastes Chapters 11 & 12
Speaker: TBA

11:00 AM - Exhortation
"Yahweh Was Departed From Him"
Speaker: Steve Osborne

Notes: "And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the LORD was departed from him" (Judges 16:20). Samson: The angel of Yahweh appears Manoah and his wife; Samson born; great victories; succumbs to temptation; remembered by Yahweh.

2:00 PM
- Youth Program
Sunday School Talk & Program
Speaker: David Sommerville

7:15 PM - Bible Lecture
"Who is Antichrist?"
Speaker: Bob Lorquet

Notes: Many believe that Antichrist will shortly appear to set himself up as a world-wide leader. They claim that their beliefs are Scriptural, supported by the book of Revelation. Many popular Christian views of Antichrist mirror what the Scripture actually reveals concerning the return of Christ. Christ's return is imminent, and he will receive opposition on that day due to the propagation of Christendom's teachings on Antichrist.

Sunday, July 29

10:00 AM - Exhortation
"Every Man Did That Which Was Right in His Own Eyes"
Speaker: Jim Sommerville

Notes: "In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes" (Judges 21:25). Applicable to today. No open vision, man rules the world (though Yahweh directs all things). Order not restored until the coming of the King. "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death" (Proverbs 14:22)
